Lena and Me
Lena and Ardi have to get married. As Albanian immigrants in America, they agree to an arranged marriage by their old fashioned parents who desperately want to make sure their children don’t assimilate and want to keep the traditions. They become good friends and make another arrangement. To continue living their lives and keep their previous relationships. Till it lasts!
“Lena and Me” is a short film written and directed by Blerta Basholli. The film won “Ensemble acting award” at the First Run Film Festival 2011, presented by Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film, TV and New Media, Tisch School of the Arts, NYU.
