In a tight-knit town in Kosovo, families struggle to make ends meet as they anxiously await news of husbands, fathers, and sons who were ripped away by the war. When Fahrije’s bees stop producing honey, she acquires her driver’s license and ventures into the city to sell homemade ajvar in a local grocery store. Fahrije’s ingenuity and ambition challenge the conservative townspeople, who are steadfast on traditional roles and patriarchal expectations. She disregards insults, gossip, and even physical attacks to empower a community of women to be self-reliant and independent in order to survive together.

After NATO enters Kosovo, three mental patients roam free and have nowhere to go. Unsure of what to do next, they set off across the post war Kosovo and travel to Hasan’s village. They are not welcomed by Hasan’s sister in law Zarife, (Yllka Gashi) and other residents and choose instead to live in an abandoned building.

"Death and the Maiden” is explosively provocative award-winning drama written by Argentine- Chilean Ariel Dorfman and directed by Fatos Berisha. It is set in a country that has only recently returned to democracy. Gerardo Escobar (Shkumbin Istrefi) has just been chosen to head the commission that will investigate the crimes of the old regime when his car breaks down and he is picked up by the humane doctor Roberto Miranda (Luan Jaha). But in the voice of this Good Samaritan, Gerardo’s wife Paulina Salas (Yllka Gashi), thinks she recognizes another man- the one who raped and tortured her as she lay blindfolded in a military detention center years ago
SHORT FILM
“The wedding tape” is a short film written and directed by Ariel Shaban. Fisnik is tired of his home country Kosovo and wants to move and live abroad. He arranges fake documents to obtain a visa but while applying, he is requested to show the wedding tape as proof of marriage to his German bride. He has to convince his family, friends and his ex girlfriend to join him in this crazy absurd journey to put on a fake wedding.

“Kombinati”- TV Sitcom produced by Isstra Factory.
Set in a chaotic workplace/office where everything and anything can happen except actual work, Kombinati is a hilarious comedy with a star studded cast.
Sheki (played by Yllka Gashi) is a ambitious yet illiterate secretary who finds herself in akward situations that get complicated by her coworkers involvement. She has a huge influence to her co workers to achieve “Big Goals” that have nothing to do with work.

(“Daisyland”-Albanian Title)- written by Christopher Durang and directed by Agon Myftari is a comedy about a boy named Daisy who is raised by two parents and a nanny that aren’t prepared to take care of a baby. The play was sold out for two straight seasons at the National Theatre of Kosovo, making it the biggest theatre hit with the largest audience engagement in 2009/2010 season.
TV SERIES
“The Modern Family” (“Familja Moderne’”- Albanian Title) was the first Albanian TV sitcom produced by Radio Television of Kosovo in the post war era. With 10 seasons and 318 episodes in total, premiereing for the New Years Eve of 2001 and ending in June 2011, the series used to be one of the biggest hits ever produced in Albanian Television history. The sweetheart Zana (portrayed by Yllka Gashi) was one of the most loving, charismatic, funny and rebellious TV characters adored by hundreds of thousands of Albanian audiences in Kosovo and abroad.
